Claudia & Ovi :: Chicago Wedding

Chicago Baby!

You might remember the engagement session I took in Chicago that was posted a few weeks back of Nelli & Marius. The whole reason for being there in the first place for these guys. Claudia & Ovi were married back in May and I had the privileged of flying out to capture the celebration. My partner in crime for this one was Evan Baines. Love shooting with him and I while there, I had the great pleasure of meeting the better half. Amanda you are a sweetheart. What a team of awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed myself being around you guys.

Romanians have their own thing going. As a people, they are VERY family oriented and photography is high on the list of important thing. I can certainly appreciate that. The festivities are never "amped" with alcohol which in turn makes the emotion of the day genuine. Claudia & Ovi, you both come from wonderful families. The bond there was VERY evident. You both have been blessed with a great surrounding of people. Enjoy the shots guys. Not to sound cocky but I told you they would be amazing. :) You have Evan to thank as well.

My contribution to this shot is zero, well okay, I held the light. This is one of the greatest shots I've ever seen from Evan and it happened to be on my watch. I didn't even have the heart to put my watermark on it. I just wanted everyone else to see the magic. Wow.

Sarah & Clay :: Engaged

Sarah is small, Clay is massive. During our session together we broke for lunch. Sarah and I each had a sandwich. Clay ate corn only. Serious.

These 2 love birds hitch the beginning of October at Oak Farm Vineyards in Lodi Ca. Everything looks to be set wonderfully. Historic Pleasanton was our backdrop for this awesome engagement session. Lots of laughs and fun. I loved their outfits. Those who will be shooting their engagement session soon, take notes. These guys have style. Love it.

Jessica & Cory :: Engaged

Hot!

Meet tonight smokin couple. Jessica & Cory say their I-do's in just a few weeks this Sept. If Cory played a movie role, it would be the silent cool guy. Hilarious story on how these guys hooked up. Long story short, Cory, known cool guy, used the most awesome line and totally sent Jessica the other direction. Cool guys get all the girls though, so fast forward a few weeks and guess who's hangin on cool guys arm? **wishes I was a cool guy**

Big ups to my VERY good buddy Mondo for coming to help on this one. Mondo isn't even a photographer but whenever he gets a chance to be around a girl, he takes it. Yeah, he's single. :P
Another thank you to Dolores for helping out as assistant as well. Drove all the way from the valley to be a part. You both are awesome. Sweep the leg.

Ashley & Mike :: Engaged

Ashley and Mike will be married in just under 3 weeks. Such sweet people. Ashely, you're a doll. All of your Sac family is gonna miss you. Mike is a super cool dude with his only flaw being that he's Canadian. Several times during our session he tried to hockey check me. He smelled of maple as well. Weird. ;) Congrats on the engagement guys. Looking forward to shooting for you guys again eh. Melissa & Joe :: The Castle Engagement

All the pre-engaged dudes that follow the blog need to take notes here. When you decide to propose to your girl, do it at a castle, k? Kinda hard to top Joe. Good going my friend. Melissa, you landed a great guy. Want to thank the good folks at Castello Di Amorosa for allowing us to come down and use your wonderful castle as a backdrop for this great couples engagaement session. Melissa & Joe, we'll see you guys at the alter in just a few weeks ;)

For all those that were wondering were the Hassas has been, myself and the family had a wonderful ecape from reality at Walt Disney World in Florida. While there we met up with the very talented Tony Shreiber and family. You guys are soooooooo awesome. You guys made the visit so special. Ethan misses you terribly. :(
Get this, Tony and I shot a wedding IN DISNEY WORLD!! Look out for the magic very soon.
