Tanya & Marius :: Engagement

If ever there was a genuine love story, it would be the story of Tanya & Marius. One of my favorite things to do when meeting a new client is hear of their meeting and courtship. These guys have a true fairytale story. I'll give you the readers digest version.

They met here in the States while Marius was here on business/pleasure away from his home country of Romania. It was just about love at first site with these 2 and they stated the courting process. Their relationship had to be long distance as Marius home was in Europe and Tanyas was here in Sacramneto. While we will be celebrating their wedding day on the 18th of January 09', they've had their civil marrige this past year back home. Get this, they BOTH shared their FISRT kiss EVER, (meaning they had never kissed anyone else) right after being pronouced husband and wife!! That is pure awesome.

Best part about their day together is that my good photog buddy Tony Hoffer will be making it out here to help me shoot it. I almost hesitate in posting his website as he is that awesome of a photographer. By linking here to view his work you are agreeig to never use him for any photo needs. I'm warning you Hoff.

Delaina & Danny :: Wedding

Shot this one about 2 months back in Bakersfield. Might remember these guys from their engagement shoot I did a few months ago. This wedding was HUGE. By far the largest I've shot. 700 guest!! The bridal party was massive. Biggest I've shot as well. Lets see: Bride, Groom, 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 4 attendants, 2 ushers, Miniature bride and groom and 8 angels. 36 folks in the wedding. HOLY. MOLY.
The church was grand. Probably one of the most picturesque churches I've shot or even been to. I loved the columns and how sterile the background was. So here's a shout out to all the single guys who attend my local home chuch, the Bakerfield Church has some beautiful girls attending. :) I mentioned you guys might be visiting soon.
Big shot out to Jared Alvarez for helping me out on yet another wedding. Definantly my favorite traveling buddy. We have lol's all throughout the trip. Came though on these bud. Thanks a bunch.
This won't be the last time you see Delaina & Danny however. They opted to have a post wedding session with me as well. Yay! For now, enjoy the shots and congrats once again guys. Take care.

Ashley & Erik :: Engagement

Just woke up from a 3 day nap. The Tryptophan in the monster turkey I cooked last week had me out! Finally back on track. I've had 5 turkey sandwiches since Thursday. And you? Still have enough for about 20 more. Need some suggestions for other leftover turkey ideas. Anyone? Turkey was so good. I'm in charge for the Christmas Turkey this year. Enough already, on with my super duper clients.

I'd like to introduce Ashley & Erik. These two love bugs will be tying the knot the 14th of Feb 09'! That's right, Valentines day falls on a Saturday next year. From what I'm reading, it looks to be a really big day for weddings. Maybe even as big as 7/7/7 or this years 8/8/8. It's gonna rock!

Took them to Vasona Park in Los Gatos. Such a pretty place. HUGE as well. Almost overwhelming how many opportunities it provided. Thanks for being such awesome sports you two. Erik put on a street cone and was "street cone monster" in one of our shots below. I LOVE it! And you said you were shy. By the end of the night they were both up to anything. I love that.
Best part about this session was they opted to have a sign in guest book made from the images from our session here. I'll post it when it's complete. The 14th of February can't come soon enough guys. Enjoy the planning and the pics .We'll see you next year. Take care.
